How do I pay for a course?

Courses must be paid in full one month before they begin. You will pay in dollars or pounds sterling, into our International Bank of Yemen account. We will let you know when we receive the money. If you are unable to attend the course 50% will be returned but once the course begins no refunds can be made.

How much money will I need to spend over a month?

The cost of living is increasing but if you buy local goods then everything is much cheaper than in developed countries. You can survive on 150 pounds sterling but if you need some treats then you may spend 250 pounds sterling.

How can I get money from my bank account when I am in Yemen?

The modern world is reaching Yemen - you can use a variety of ATM machines.

What health precautions do I need to take before coming to Yemen?

Yemen has no special vaccination requirements. You are advised to consult your doctor before travelling. Malaria pills are not needed in Sana'a.  If you travel to the coastal region then you may decide to take malaria pills.

What things will be difficult to buy in Yemen and what should I bring with me?

Sana'a has 3 modern super markets but there can be shortages from time to time. If you have special diet requirements then check with us before hand to make sure they will be available. There is very little consumer choice outside of Sana'a. Most shops have items made in place. Bring a torch, sun lotion and sleeping bag if you plan to travel.
